Are Oreka Kitchen meals gluten-free?

Yes, our entire menu is gluten-free. We don't offer a gluten-free option alongside a regular menu — gluten-free is the foundation of everything we make. We use Mediterranean grains like quinoa, millet, and brown rice in place of wheat-based ingredients.

Oreka Kitchen is not a medical weight loss program. It's a structured daily nutrition system built around whole organic foods, balanced macronutrients, and consistent calorie intake. Many of our clients find that the structure naturally supports their weight management goals — but we make no medical claims. If you have specific health conditions, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider.

How many calories are in each plan?

Each daily plan is structured to provide approximately 1,500 kcal, distributed across 5 meals. Actual calorie content may vary by ±50 kcal depending on the week's menu and natural variation in organic ingredients. Our protein target — a minimum of 120g per day — never changes.

Yes. Our standard daily plan is built around 1,500 kcal per day — 5 meals that include breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack, and dinner. This structure is designed to keep energy stable throughout the day while supporting a moderate, sustainable caloric intake.

Is delivery included?

Yes, delivery is included in your plan price. We deliver directly to your door across our San Diego service areas — no separate delivery fee. A refundable $5 deposit is collected at checkout for your insulated delivery bag, which is returned when your bag is picked up on the next delivery.

Are meals fresh or frozen?

Accepted Answer

All Oreka Kitchen meals are prepared fresh on the day of delivery. We do not freeze our meals at any point. Ingredients are sourced, prepped, and cooked each morning so that what arrives at your door is as fresh as possible. We recommend consuming meals within 3–4 days of delivery and storing them refrigerated.
